St. John's Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), one of the largest Christian denominations in the country. We are located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Through a welcoming atmosphere, innovative worship styles and youth programming, our congregation has grown to over 900 members in the last 10 years. We invite you to join us and experience the many ways God is at work at St. John's.

Then be sure to join us this Sunday for Alive!, now at it's new time in our lineup of services. Come enjoy Christian Education opportunites at 9:45 AM, then join us in our Parish Life Center for Alive! This service features a praise and worship service of Word and Sacrament. If you are inspired by today's Christian song writers and love to worship in a more casual atmosphere then you'll like Alive!. Come this Sunday and invite a friend.
If your worship style is centered more in the rich traditions then you'll want to check our our two Traditional offerings... One at 8:30 AM and the other which runs simultaneous to the contemporary service at 11:00 AM . Regardless of the service that you choose, you are welcomed and encouraged to join us for Sunday School and worship this week!
